These two JBLs only compete if you're trying to make one product cover everything, and that's the real question here. The Tune 770NC ($90) is an over-ear for commutes and desks: adaptive ANC that handles bus engines and plane drone, 44 hours with ANC on, multipoint, and a 3.5mm jack. The Endurance Peak 3 ($80) is a hooked sport earbud rated IP68, so owners say it survives full submersion, beach sand and sweat. Neither can do the other's job. The over-ear has no water rating and its leatherette cups get sweaty, and the earbud has no ANC at all.
